Farmingdale,
NY - May 6, 2010 **LONG
ISLAND DRIVE 2010 SEASON ARRIVES** DRIVE
BASEBALL PRIMED AND READY TO FIGHT TO REGAIN TITLE IN 2010 As the weather finally improves, the Long Island Drive senses the opportunity to start fresh has finally
arrived. Coming off two seasons of poor playoff finishes, after strong regular seasons, the Drive looks to 2010
to be the season when the organization returns to prominence. Armed with its deepest pitching staff to date, and a strong lineup throughout, the 2010 Drive
is looking to be a tough team to beat this season. The Drive welcomes newcomers LHP Jason Galbraith, LHP Eric Miller,
RHP Tom Kahl, and RHP Chris Esposito to the staff, complimenting the formidable front four over the past few seasons in Mannese,
Harris, Docar and Carbone and closer Nick Timpone. Position players Steven LaMacchia (1B) and John Succarotte (3B) come
aboard, alongside returning veterans coming off injury and returning to action, in Chris Kahl (2B) and Kelvin Ortiz (SS).
A healthy Drive means a productive and deep club for the 2010 season, and the team is ready to take on Long Island's best
in the top division of wood bat baseball.

IN REMEMBERANCE OF ITS CATCHER *RICHARD
CONNOR O'GORMAN* THE LONG ISLAND DRIVE CELEBRATES HIS MEMORY, IN TRIBUTE AND DEDICATION TO HIM ***In
Loving Memory*** RICHARD CONNOR O'GORMAN
"CATCHER"
1979 - 2009 APRIL 6,
2009 - The Long Island Drive organization deeply mourns the loss of one of its original members, CONNOR O'GORMAN
(#5), who was tragically struck by a car and killed early Sunday
morning at an undisclosed location in New York City. Our thoughts
and prayers are with his family, as our organization is shocked by this awful, tragic loss. The Atlanta, Georgia native
and former Princeton Tiger and Long Island Drive catcher was just 30 years old at the time of the accident, and
worked in trading for Morgan Stanley in NY. Connor was loved by many and greatly
respected and cared for by his Drive teammates. Today, the Drive family collectively mourns the loss of one of
its own - a great individual, a friend, and a wonderful teammate. Rest in Peace, Catcher.
